Directions
Add chopped tomatoes into an blender and pulse blend until smooth.
Next add the tomatoes and the rest of the ingredients into a medium size, heavy bottomed pan and combine.
Cook over medium-high heat until the sauce begins to come together and starts to lightly simmer. Allow to simmer for a further 10-15 minutes, or until the sauce has slightly thickened.
Note: The longer you leave the sauce to simmer the thicker it will become once cooled.
Spoon the sauce onto your pizza base, add your toppings, bake and enjoy! Alternatively, serve a dollop of sauce along side your favourite pizza to dunk your crusts, or drizzle on the top for a BBQ sauce hit!Can be stored in the fridge in an airtight container for up to one week.
